Choosing the right chock system comes down to three questions: how much deck space you have, how often you're stowing and deploying your tender, and what size vessel you're working with. Here's how to match your needs to the right setup.

Flush Mount: Best for a Clean Deck

If a completely flush deck matters to you, the InvisaChock Flush Mount is built for exactly that. It collapses level with the deck when not in use, so there's nothing to trip over or snag a line on between uses. It's built from carbon fiber, marine aluminum, and non-skid rubber, and fits universally rather than requiring a specific boat model.

For a lateral mounting position rather than a straight flush cutout, the InvisaChock Lateral Flush Mount uses a 316 stainless steel frame with a carbon fiber top plate, giving you the same low-profile benefit with a different mounting geometry.

Top Mount: Easiest Install, Strong Hold

The InvisaChock Top Mount sits on top of the deck rather than recessed into it, which makes installation simpler since there's no cutout required. It's rated to 1,000 lbs (450 kg) and uses the same carbon fiber and marine aluminum construction with non-skid rubber pads, so you're not trading durability for ease of install.

Custom-Built: For Larger Tenders or Non-Standard Decks

If your tender is larger than 6 feet, or your deck layout doesn't suit a universal-fit chock, the GL Series Chock is built to order in either marine-grade aluminum or 316 stainless steel, sized to fit tenders from 6 to 20+ feet. Because it's custom-built, lead times run longer than our in-stock chocks, so it's worth ordering ahead of when you actually need it installed.
